Lorien Strengthens Poland Team with Promotions
Lorien Engineering Solutions has strengthened its operations in Poland with promotions for two experienced engineers.
Maciej Mielink has been appointed as process projects director while Maciej Król has been promoted to building projects director.
Lorien Engineering Solutions is based in Wroclaw, Poland, and Burton-upon-Trent, UK. It is a division of GP Strategies Corporation, which specialises in capital projects for food, brewing, drinks, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, logistics and safety compliance.
Maciej Mielnik is a qualified process engineer and project manager. He plays a leading role in process design, project engineering, project management, construction, commissioning and validation on projects within the food and drink, confectionery and snack manufacturing industries as well as oral care and fine chemicals processes.
His experience includes complex projects delivered for blue chip, multi-national customers in Poland and the UK.
Maciej Król is a qualified structural engineer with 19 years of experience in supervisory, complex project management and technical design positions. He has a long track record of ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality and within timescale by effectively organising, managing and utilising all resources.
His experience covers the entire EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) delivery cycle of projects.
The promotions follow a record-breaking year for Lorien, with revenues up by 11% and a best-ever sales performance. Lorien won eight new customers in Poland in 2018.
