Experienced engineer Timothy Stephenson joins as compliance consultant
Lorien Engineering Solutions has strengthened its compliance team with the appointment of aerospace engineer Timothy Stephenson.

Tim joins Lorien as a compliance consultant and will deliver a range of safety compliance services to keep customers’ processes safe, including machine safety risk assessments, UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) risk assessments and Hazardous Area Classification – DSEAR Assessments.
Lorien specialises in capital projects for food, brewing, drinks, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and logistics. The company is headquartered in Burton-upon-Trent, with international offices in Poland and South Africa.
Tim brings experience of safety related control systems across a range of sectors and manufacturing system environments. He has recent experience of providing compliance and guidance to projects ranging from automated drilling and fastening machines, mobile remote-controlled robots and 5-axis additive manufacturing cells.
He joins Lorien from Amtri Veritas, where he conducted EC-Type examinations on Annex IV equipment. In this role he also provided technical support to clients during the design phase of machines, as well as compiling technical files.
