Ready, Steady, Mo!

Movember is upon us, and two Lorien engineers support by two friends are collaborating to raise charitable funds again this year.  Movember is a moustache-growing charity event whereby men (typically) grow moustaches during the month of November and politely ask for some donations towards Prostate and Testicular Cancer charities in place of their dignity.  Last year, the Lorien Engineering team “Commissioning Angels” raised £2,200 from very kind donations.  They’re hoping to match this year with the “Brotherhood of Angels” team.

The normal Movember rules are to simply grow a moustache during the month.  However, ‘normal’ is not what this team is looking to achieve, and so the guys have each chosen a theme for various facial hair styles to be sported by their gorgeous faces (their words) throughout the month.  Alex Moorhouse will be portraying ‘Sporting Olympians’, Martin Bealby’s theme is ‘Hollywood’, Myke Harrison’s (Premier Foods) is ‘Movie Villains’, and Colin Baird’s (Kraft Foods) is Swedish Confectioners.  It’s a curious mix, and certainly quite a challenge, so please support them!

Below are links where you can follow progress throughout the month, laugh at some photos and make donations.  Keep visiting as the content will grow rapidly as the team rock their various styles!
