We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to join our team.  

Lorien is a leading provider of engineering design and management services for CapEx projects within the Food and Beverage sector.  As a division of GP Strategies Corporation, our geographical and sector coverage is second to none.To support our continued growth, we are keen to talk to sales professionals with a can-do attitude, and who have the ambition to grow their careers with the successful Business Development Team here at Lorien.  The position will be based from our UK office in Burton on Trent.  There would be extensive travel across the UK, and also European and International travel. For example, our recent BD and project locations include: UK, Europe (generally, and including Russia, Ukraine, Poland), China, India, South Africa, Middle East.  

You should have a proven track record of achieving targets in a sales role – ideally in selling professional services within engineering projects in the hygienic manufacturing sector (food, beverages, health products). You must possess outstanding listening, questioning and consulting skills, excellent presentation skills, the ability to communicate and network with people at all levels, and have the ability to think strategically in viewing sales issues and opportunities.

As well as having your individual target and responsibilities, you will be a part of the Lorien Engineering Solutions business unit senior management team, supporting the business unit’s growth agenda.
