Summary Role
- The management of multi-disciplined capital projects in the food, drinks and related manufacturing sectors.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specification and within legislative parameters.
- Project objectives to be met and client satisfaction maintained.
- Control and management of project team ensuring effective use of resources whilst maintaining motivation and morale.
- Management of tenders and feasibility studies.
Principal Accountabilities
- Project profitability – control of manhours and capital expenditure.
- Identification, estimation and agreement of contract variations.
- Identification, development and implementation of project strategy.
- Maintaining project control procedures including planning, cost control, quality assurance and Health and Safety.
- Team management and control of resources.
- Managing client relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum HNC
- Ideally degree education in a relevant engineering discipline.
