Project Manager

Summary Role

  • The management of multi-disciplined capital projects in the food, drinks and related manufacturing sectors.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, to specification and within legislative parameters.
  • Project objectives to be met and client satisfaction maintained.
  • Control and management of project team ensuring effective use of resources whilst maintaining motivation and morale.
  • Management of tenders and feasibility studies.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Project profitability – control of manhours and capital expenditure.
  • Identification, estimation and agreement of contract variations.
  • Identification, development and implementation of project strategy.
  • Maintaining project control procedures including planning, cost control, quality assurance and Health and Safety.
  • Team management and control of resources.
  • Managing client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum HNC
  • Ideally degree education in a relevant engineering discipline.
