Senior Engineers

Summary Role

• Developing commercially focused innovative engineering solutions to solve complex client problems with responsibility for delivery from initial conception through to final handover.
• Working as an effective member of a multi-disciplined project team leading one or more of the engineering disciplines.
• Committed to delivering project objectives within capital, time, quality and legislative parameters.
• Professional approach incorporating best practice and internally developed QA and design procedures.

Principal Accountabilities

• Engineering Design – providing tailored solutions incorporating an appropriate blend of innovation and practicality.
• Ensuring project deliverables are met – production of clear unambiguous engineering outputs including specifications and scope of work incorporating measurable performance requirements.
• Project profitability – control of capital expenditure and contractor variations for their engineering disciplines(s).
• Project completion – meeting programme dates agreed by them/their contractors.
• Lorien profitability – control of man hours.
• QA – contribute to and work to Lorien/client systems and design procedures.
• Legislation – ensure project compliance with legal requirements including CDM Regulations.
• Team working.
• Client relationship – develop relationship and sell added value.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree educated in an engineering discipline with chartered status.
• Candidates with HNC and relevant experience will be considered.
