Project Engineer (Construction)

General requirement.

Committed to achieving corporate goals, ensuring projects are completed to high standards within programme and cost requirements.
Able to work in teams.
Able to co-ordinate designs with other disciplines and present information in a CAD format.
Proficient in Autocad (preference for 3D capability).
Computer literate and fully conversant with and competent in Microsoft word and excel.
Able to develop and coordinate designs with minimal supervision
Conversant with all relevant Local Authority Regulations, British Standards, guides, etc
Design of architectural finishes / general arrangements /elevations /sections details
Detailing of reinforced concrete and steelwork
Design and detailing of drainage systems
Organising and evaluating tenders
Management of contractors -(attendance at meetings, taking minutes, establishing programme of works etc)
It is not anticipated that the successful applicant will have experience of all the above and will gain "on the job" experience
