Senior Compliance Engineer - Machine and Area Safety

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer / Consultant, to be based from our Burton on Trent office.

Our Safety Compliance team undertakes safety reviews for production line machinery, both under the Machinery (Safety) Regulations and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), in compliance with the EU Directives.  This can be for new-to-service plant, as well as legacy systems.

We also support our clients in regard to explosive atmospheres, and compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR), and the EU ATEX Directive, providing Basis Of Safety reports, Hazardous Area Classifications and Engineer's Reports.  Again, these services are deployed for new-to-service and legacy plants.

Our clients operate within the Food, Brewing, Drinks, Life Sciences and Advanced Manufacturing Sectors, based here in the UK and internationally.

Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering consultative professional services in the one or more of the target areas above, with a minimum of 3 years delivery experience.

Senior Engineer - Electrical

An experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer is required to join our expanding team to deliver commercially focused innovative engineering solutions to solve complex client problems, from concept to handover. 

Experience areas of interest include: HV/LV networks, manufacturing process control and automation, and building services.  Ideally you will have degree level education with charted status would be an advantage, but candidates with an HNC engineering qualification and relevant experience will be considered.

Project Engineer - Process

We are looking for a Project Engineer (Process) to join our expanding team to deliver commercially focused innovative process engineering solutions, from the delivery of the initial concept through to installation, commissioning and final handover. 

Experience in the hygienic process sectors (brewing/food/drink/pharmaceutical) is preferred. Ideally you will be degree educated in an engineering discipline with chartered status, although candidates with HNC/HND and relevant experience will be considered.

Site Health & Safety Manager

Experienced construction site based health and safety specialist - required to join our expanding team.  Our work involves the construction, alteration and fitting out of complex manufacturing facilities, mainly the in Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical sectors, both within the UK and overseas.  Experience of the CDM Principal Contractor role would be an advantage, as would NEBOSH qualifications.

Project Lifecycle
Handling projects from feasibility study stage through design and procurement and onto implementation and commissioning/start up.
Formal educational and professional qualifications preferred but this will not be a barrier to candidates with good project experience. Candidates must have good communication and report writing skills.
